Tasks and purposes of the course:

  • development of confident and fluent speaking skills;
  • building up and improvement of business communication skills;
  • building up of an active occupational vocabulary in financial and economics field;
  • practical and professional understanding of finances, economics and financial services;
  • understanding modern theory and practice in financial fields.

Course topics:

  • financial reporting – balance sheets, cash flow accounting, profit and loss;
  • sources and types of business financing;
  • stock exchanges and financial markets;
  • investment management;
  • financial planning;
  • corporative banking;
  • financial services for private individuals and companies;
  • assets and liabilities;
  • costs classification.


Skills obtained during the course:

  • business writing;
  • preparation and carrying out of presentations;
  • carrying out of negotiations and business meetings;
  • business communication over the telephone.

The programme is intended for 50-70 hours.
